Premise: The series takes place in "la ciudad de las estrellas," a tiny town in the South American jungle with a very understaffed clinic in great need of talented doctors. Six doctors, all of whom are running away from some sort of emotional issues and personal demons back home, arrive at the clinic and soon realize their new path is much different than anything they've ever dealt with as they battle the elements in this challenging and dangerous environment.

Series star Mamie Gummer (Mina) is the daughter of film legend Meryl Streep.
If some of the scenes look familar it's because the series shoots at some of the same locations in Hawaii as Lost.
